What Patient Intake does for your team.

Policy and member verification

Capture policy number, member ID, TPA card and corporate tie-up details on one registration screen, with the policy period and sum insured confirmed before admission.

Room-rent eligibility

Room category limits from the policy are shown against your own tariff, so the counter can explain proportionate deductions before the patient picks a room.

Scheme beneficiary checks

Record beneficiary ID and family details for government schemes and see whether the planned treatment falls under a package your hospital is empanelled for.

Balance sum insured

Track the remaining sum insured and earlier claims declared by the patient, so the estimate reflects what the policy can still pay this year.

Documents captured once

Scan ID proof, policy copy, TPA card and referral letters at the counter. They move straight into the pre-auth request and the final claim file.

Patient estimate sheet

Hand patients a written estimate split into the expected insurer share and their own share. Fewer surprises at discharge means fewer disputes at the cash counter.

How a case moves

Four steps at this desk.

01

Register

Front office records the patient, payer type and policy or beneficiary details.

02

Verify

Policy period, sum insured, waiting periods and sub-limits are checked against the planned treatment.

03

Explain

Room eligibility and the expected patient share are shown and printed for the attendant.

04

Hand over

The case opens on the Pre-Auth Desk with documents already attached.
